Das Queen of the Loch ist ein kleines und gemütliches Hotel mit freundlicher Atmosphäre. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kleinkindern unterwegs und hatten ein Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Das Hotel besteht aus zwei Gebäuden. Unser Zimmer befand sich im ersten Stock. Zu beachten ist, dass das Hotel über keinen Aufzug verfügt. Mit viel Gepäck oder kleinen Kindern kann das etwas umständlich sein. Die Zimmer waren zudem sehr staubig. Kostenlose Parkplätze stehen direkt am Hotel zur Verfügung, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Loch Lomond, den man mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreicht. Im Hotel befindet sich ein eigenes Restaurant. Dort wird ein kontinentales Frühstücksbuffet für 6,75 £ pro Person angeboten. Gegen Aufpreis können weitere Frühstücksoptionen hinzugebucht werden. Wir haben außerdem dort zu Abend gegessen und waren mit der Qualität des Essens sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt ein gemütliches Hotel mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und einer günstigen Lage für Ausflüge rund um Loch Lomond. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein nach dem Check-out vergessenes Kleidungsstück wurde schnell gefunden und für uns aufbewahrt, sodass wir es später problemlos abholen konnten.

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids under 5yrs. Breakfast was very nice! The location gave us access to a lot of things around Loch Lomond (Faerie Trail was the kids favorite). Parking was convenient and the hotel is close to other restaurants. I would stay here again.

L’hôtel était très correct. Notre première chambre avait une porte qui ne se fermait pas du tout que ce soit avec une carte ou même avec le verrou donc nous avons demander à changé ce qui fu possible assez facilement. Le resto était peu cher avec un menu tres diversifié et le petit dej était classique mais bon.

Abbie checked us in and was lovely, we needed more towels and some heating in the room which she organised immediately. We checked out with Natasha who also was incredibly helpful and organised our breakfast. All the staff couldn’t be more inviting and made us feel very welcome. Thank you!
