Ideal location to go walking the staff we're wonderful very friendly and helpful. The menu is a bit sparce but what was available was superb would highly recommend

Terrific stock of spirits good selection of ales incl. alcohol free. Fabulous food freshly cooked oth brekkie and evening meals. Staff / owners lovely warm welcome and pleasant company.

Dinner was delicious and high quality. Attentive and friendly staff. Quality real ale in the bar. Mix of locals and visitors. Spacious accommodations. Character and lovely atmosphere. Very dog friendly and interesting short walk nearby highlighting prehistoric and dark ages history.
