I would strongly suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Carmarthen. Over the past few years, Ive stayed in a variety of hotels while shopping for work, but this one is by far my favorite and, in my opinion, has now set the bar for other hotels. I had to remain for three weeks, traveling home for a few days before returning, and the staff was welcoming and eager to learn what I did for work each time I returned. The rooms themselves were beautifully kept, cleaned daily, and had a pleasant, cosy atmosphere. Although you were staying in rooms on the second level, rooms 58, you didn't experience as much bar or street noise as you did in the first floor. I was still able to sleep through most of the noise while I was there, and even take a nap if I got back early enough for one. Despite being extremely busy, the bar downstairs had a lovely ambiance and the restaurant meals were excellent. In general, you could go elsewhere for less expensive, but you wouldn't get the same high-quality meals they serve. I cherished every week's stay and couldn't thank the wonderful employees enough for making it so enjoyable.

What a treasure. Myself and 5 friends travelled into Carmarthen on Saturday afternoon for a few drinks and food. We had food in the rose crown, the service along with the food was so good we arranged to go back on Sunday for Sunday lunch and oh my days! We weren't disappointed! Absolutely stunning and very good portions. I will be back.

The first time I stayed here, and this time it was consistently welcoming and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a decent vegan cooked breakfast. The price is reasonable even though the price has increased recently. We had a radiator problem which was quickly repaired.

I highly recommend it. The service here was very impressive, even during check-in, the staff went above and beyond, and they even helped with bizarre pay and display parking! A great bar with a variety of welsh craft beers. The food was really delicious and plentiful, and it was superbly cooked and presented. In our luxurious suite, there are great mattresses and coffee and tea-making equipment. The interior decor here is beautiful and stunning with a gorgeous view of the surrounding region.

The hotel was wonderful, clean, and the service was great, but the only disadvantage was we had a room in front of the hotel looking at the taxi ramp, it was very hot night but we had to close the window due to the noise and with the window closed we still here everything from outside, people waiting for taxi until the early morning. And to top it off, the builder across the street started working early on Sunday morning.
