All of the negative ratings are a bit unsettling, but when we got there the owner was friendly and welcoming. I think the hotel needs a little updating, especially the beds, had breakfast day we left was only 5. 00 tea, coffee, orange juice, cereals toast english breakfast very good

We stayed for 3 nights. The hosts were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The sea view room was fantastic. Yes, the room was small but adequate but suited us. Breakfast was cooked fresh and plentiful. We learned that the owners had only been here for a short time and have plans for the future of the hotel. We stayed for my birthday and my husband contacted the hotel and told them about this and I was overwhelmed by the lovely birthday gifts they provided at our expense. Cant wait to come back as plans are already underway. Great sea views are just minutes away from all the main attractions. Buy a tram ticket as the tram stops directly outside. Beautiful vacation.

It was a fantastic weekend, and the proprietor was extremely welcoming. The hotel is rather old, and it needs to have beds changed, but that was okay for a few nights. The bathroom and shower were small, and the water in the shower went hot and cold. It's okay to simply lay your head for a few days. It's in a great location, not far from everything. It was nice when you left your hotel directly onto the beach, and the lights were all lovely.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare. We have never experienced such poor standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a hotel. The room was simply dirty. The towels smelled unpleasant, and the toilet flush barely worked — we had to keep pumping it several times just to get the toilet to flush properly. However, the worst part was the bedding. We strongly suspected that it had not been changed after the previous guests. The pillows had visible signs of use and smelled strongly of an unwashed, greasy head. They certainly did not look or smell like freshly washed bedding. I have actually worked in a hotel myself, so I know exactly what properly washed and freshly prepared bedding should look and smell like. What we found in this room was completely unacceptable. We returned to the hotel late at night, so unfortunately there was nothing we could realistically do at that point. Thankfully, we had brought our own towels with us, so we had to cover the pillows with them just to be able to sleep. This is not about expecting a luxury hotel. A hotel can be basic, old or dated — but cleanliness and hygiene should be the absolute minimum standard. In this case, even those basic standards were not met. This was an extremely unpleasant experience, and we would definitely not stay here again. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and improves the cleaning standards and room inspections before welcoming future guests.
