Great value hotel, really nice looking bar/restaurant (although I did not dine during my stay). Amazing location, I had a side room, but could still see the sea from my window. Room was clean/comfortable and stylish throughout. I managed to grab a parking space in the car park upon arrival (around 5:30pm), tho there is plenty of parking in the village. Would definitely recommend this hotel for location, good value for money and amenities and just generally a really comfortable stay.

We had a first floor room above the bar and feared we’d be disturbed by noise. Not the case at all. Compact size room but had everything we needed. Great position for exploring the area. ALL staff were very helpful and welcoming. Food was good.

Absolut tolles, grosses und sauberes Zimmer. Bad ist gross und sehr cool. Aussicht auf den Fluss top, Bett riesig, was für UK eine riesige Ausnahme ist. 100% zu empfehlen!

Spacious clean modern room (room 19) overlooking the estuary. Short walk to pub for breakfast/food. Beautifully appointed with amenities, hairdryer, heaters, coolers, tea coffee biscuits etc. Easy access to great walks, shops at Bideford etc

We had a family room which was very luxurious for two people. Comfortable, spacious and with 3 windows overlooking the quayside. Everything clean, with well thought out design in bathroom etc. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money and great location. Staff very friendly and pub downstairs is nice. Room is well equipped with a lovely bathroom and shower, and nice big bath towels. Room comfortable. A little warm as windows don't open.

Friendly staff, nice amenities, good food. Great atmosphere - enjoyed watching the tide come in and out, loved the baby seagulls outside our window; enjoyed the local brass band in the evening. Beds could have been better - tended to roll off the bed as higher in center

Fabulous welcome from the manager, he went above and beyond to give us the best experience. We had a very nice roon with a beautiful view of the estuary. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the restaurant and drinks from the well stocked bar. All staff were super friendly and happy to help. I totally recommend the Seagate!

Had a lovely visit to The Seagate on Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and left Monday 10th. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely. The only thing the bed was a bit hard. But I guess it’s a matter of preference. Food was fab. Had a wonderful weekend away.
