My wife and I have just enjoyed an excellent stay at the Stone House Hotel while visiting friends and family in the area. We had a warm welcome from check-in onwards - every member of staff showed the same polite, helpful manner wherever they worked. The meals were very nice with an amazing selection of traditional English food and also extensive Indian cuisine, all served in two adjacent dining rooms. And the breakfasts were wonderful - what a way to start the day! We found everything to our liking - no room for improvement! Thank you everyone!

Stayed for 4 nights while working in the area. Everything about the hotel was really good. Friendly and pleasant staff. Great food especially the Indian menu. Stayed in one of the Garden rooms which was very spacious and comfortable.

The staff were super friendly and professional, really liked that. Room was smart, comfortable and really quiet! Gym and pool was a bonus, gym was tiny but it did the job. Would be more than happy to stay there again!!

Although a 3* Hotel, the service we received was more in keeping with a 5*. Our room was clean, free of dust and mould, loved the decor. The swimming pool was a huge attraction for my grandchildren and we were able to continue using the facilities after we had officially checked out. Food was well presented and good sized portion.
