Really loved staying at this hotel. We were given a room in a bungalow on the grounds which was very private and quite looking onto a garden, I really loved the fact that it had its own private kitchen and the staff were very helpful in providing things that ran out. Would definately stay there again.

Lots of free parking. Great location for local shops and easy access to town center. Fantastic staff, all very friendly and helpful, even sorted a taxi for us at short notice. Room clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery, hairdryer all in room.

I needed somewhere that was able to do late check-ins, as I had a long drive late at night to get there - this hotel appears to have round the clock reception, and it was no trouble arriving late at night (after 11pm) - hotel's own website claims 24/7 reception desk, which reassured me. Room was great except the window frame really needed replacing (old wooden frame with cracks and rots in several places, and a latch that was broken so window could not close firmly and leaked cold air from outside). Other than that, very clean, comfy bed, tv, even a small desk with plenty electrical sockets, wifi included, microwave oven, fridge, kettle, plates/cutlery/mugs, tea/coffee, en-suite bathroom with nice towels on warm radiator/towel rail and basic toiletries; on-site parking included in price... Ticked all my boxes for a brief stay for a meeting in Reading the next morning. Also very reasonably priced, in the region of 60 pounds for a mid-week stay. A good option which I may use again in future if I need to stay in Reading - would be plenty nice enough for a longer stay too if needed. They offer breakfast/meals also which I haven't tried - options seemed reasonable from the menu in the room.

Friendly, efficient check-in. Arrived about 10pm, I think reception is 24-7. Fridge, kettle & desk in room all very helpful. Bit dated cosmetically but everything functional & clean. Overall excellent value.

Clean and warm room. The staff were lovely and polite. The position of the hotel worked very well for our visit (a wedding) and to be able to park safely was also a bonus.

I was offered a newly refurbished “Club Room” for which I paid an additional £10. The room was fabulous. High end bathroom fittings, lights all over the room which were turned on/off by a switch by the bed. The staff were excellent, with directions and assistance with printing documents. Good value for money and hugely recommended.

Overall wonderful experience, all staff I encountered were courteous and helpful. Room was clean and fresh, bed comfortable and all linens smelled delightful! Located on a bus route, easy walk into town Centre, various shops/eateries a few minutes walk away from hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

Itse rakennus on kiehtovan muotoinen, joka tekee siitä erilaisen moniin "laatikkohotelleihin" verrattuna. Alueella kauniita, vanhoja rakennuksia. Hotelli suositteli lähistöllä olevaa isoa pubia, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen.
