Pengalaman saya di Tavistock Hotel sungguh luar biasa! Pilihan check-in lebih awal terbukti sangat berharga mengingat kedatangan kami di pagi hari. Kamarnya, meskipun tidak terlalu luas, sangat bersih, modern, dan terawat dengan baik, dilengkapi dengan bak mandi yang menyenangkan dan handuk berkualitas. Sayangnya, keadaan darurat kesehatan memerlukan layanan medis dan penjaga pintu malam bertindak lebih jauh, menunjukkan kepedulian dan bantuan yang tulus. Kedua pria yang bekerja di hotel juga sangat mendukung, terus memeriksa kami dan membantu dengan nomor darurat, mengingat ketidaktahuan kami tentang Inggris. Hotel ini benar-benar layak mendapat pujian atas pelayanannya yang luar biasa. Selain itu, mereka dengan murah hati memberi kami keterlambatan check-out, sehingga memungkinkan kami beristirahat sebelum penerbangan, terutama mengingat situasi kesehatan. We stayed overnight at this hotel because I had a job as a solo traveler. The location is close to the train station. At the restaurant, we get a reduced price for dinner with a delicious breakfast with many choices in the morning. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The personnel is helpful.

Overall, this is a great place to stay in London. The location is in the centre of London. And that hotel has close to the restaurant and bar. They close the hotel for repairs. But, sadly, the bar is still closed.

I stayed here for one night and it was the best night's sleep ever. The room was just right temperature, nice and quiet, blackout curtains. Just perfect. The breakfast was pretty good. Good choice.

Overall, as there are too many shortcomings in service, I would not return. Very good location. The heating was on and we couldn't turn it off because it was the original radiators from the previous century. Dana, a housekeeper, took care of our rooms and was incredibly kind and helpful. Many items were missing, the bed was too hard, I slept in a travel-odge the night before, so I'm not familiar with moderate hotel beds, but the Tufton bed was not comfortable. Breakfast only has decaffeinated filterespresso coffee, so my day didn't begin as I'd expect from such a hotel.

We received 25 vouchers for night dinner in the area. The place is clean and in good condition. The hotel has recently been renovated and is in very good condition throughout. Cleanliness was to a high standard and there were plenty of towels provided. And the price is very competitive and reasonable. All the staff were very nice, efficient and helpful.

Tentang Tavistock Hotel

Our Tavistock Hotel is a welcoming place to stay overlooking leafy Tavistock Square Gardens in the Bloomsbury neighbourhood.

We are close to Euston and Kings Cross St Pancras, a 10 – 15 minute walk away for connections to other parts of the UK and the Eurostar. Also, the underground, Russell Square, is a 2 minute walk away, connecting visitors to other parts of central London and Heathrow airport, via the Piccadilly line.

Virginia Woolf, the famous British writer, wrote some of her best novels in her home at number 52 Tavistock Square where she lived from 1924 until 1939. Our hotel proudly stands on the site of Woolf’s former home and there is an English Heritage blue plaque to look out for, on the left of our main entrance.

Refresh yourself with a drink or a light meal in our laid-back restaurant and bar, Woolf & Whistle, with a charming terrace area for warmer afternoons. Plus, our popular Indian restaurant, Poppadom, promises an authentic array of delicious dishes to enjoy before seeing a theatre show in the West End or to catch up with friends.
