We had a girly family night out at The Bay Hotel. We had a 13-year-old girl and a 75 and 70-year-old smoker, a 48 and 51-year-old smoker, and two smokers. The reason I mention smoking is that some hotels no longer accommodate us in the past. We reserved an executive family room and a deluxe double. Both with balconies. I had smoked on a balcony here when I first arrived a few years ago. That is now over. Yet, my moms Deluxe Double is a side room with a side balcony, and it allows smoking. The room is roomy, warm, with comfy beds, and tidy. It was amazing! So reasonable and delicious. After checking in, the younger three of us went to the pool. It was a little disappointing. I need to do something urgent. There were numerous closed sections that were damaged. There is also a tape around them that looks ugly. The pool was also devoid of family members! The sauna and steam room were pleasant, but there wasn't any cushion in the water. The changing rooms are lively and filthy. Despite the fact that it is shared with the caravan park, we knew, but it definitely needs to be updated. The same poor staff were still there when we scheduled dinner. They worked hard, were fantastic, and extremely professional. I should make sure they are

This time we reserved a function room for lunch for a group of ladies from the Scottish Women's Institutes. The service was fast. The meal was excellent and enjoyed by all. Several of the ladies had never been there before, but they absolutely loved the setting and the breathtaking view. Some of our less mobile members appreciated the fact that they could enter the function suite directly. Overall, the event was a huge success, and the cuisine was excellent.

I would like to highlight that the major hotel and restaurant offered firstrate service and very helpful staff. My sons wedding yesterday made for a wonderful day to soak up my sons wedding. Here is a review based on that experience. The accommodations were tidy and had everything you would anticipate from a hotel of this caliber. Weak wedding venue arrangements. I go to great lengths to grasp how this side of the hotel survives based on the communication and general attitude of most of the wedding employees. The wedding coordinator and master of ceremonies were very unacceptable. On the morning of the wedding, I brought several issues up with the wedding coordinator and master of ceremonies. And my grandfather senior himself was walking around the grounds when there was a clear message of take it or leave from the establishment and left my son, family, and other event planners feeling uneasy and disgruntled. The day got off to a great start and later in the evening, with complaints from guests about the attitude of the staff serving the buffet and the cashonly service at one of the bars that miraculously resolved after a few complaints from customers when the other bar was closed. As guests door cards were terminated at 10. Am this morning, the unhappy guests had to climb up to the front desk to get this resolved.

Stylish accommodations in a lovely location. The view is amazing. excellent dining area table service. I'll be back. The only suggestion is to place a patrician between room 126 and the public seating area on the left.

The sea view from the front of the hotel is beautiful as advertised, the hill right behind a couple of hundred static caravans is a surprise. Our executive family suite is comfortable but tired. The food is mediocre.
