Driven past this hotel countless times & always thought that it looked like a lovely, well presented building. Thankfully thanks to Hotels.com I eventually stayed there last night & it didn’t disappoint. Everything was pretty much what I expected , couldn’t really fault it, except maybe for the £8.00 daily parking charge, I personally don’t think that residents should be charged this.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Hotel, we stayed in the past and liked its old world charm, so decided to return, rooms are tastefully decorated, only one little gripe, if you book through Hotels.com you have to pay £8 to park but if you book direct with the hotel its waived.

Had a lovely stay at the Bedford Hotel. Room was well presented and clean. The staff were very friendly (Zoe on the front desk was very chatty and knowledgeable). Tasty breakfast and a nice late time to check out by. I was able to park my car in their car park and see my car from the room. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a lovely time and would stay again. The only problem was when the jacuzzi went wrong and we had no instructions, which would have been useful. Otherwise, no complaints. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Fantastisches Hotel, wirkt wie ein Herrenhaus. Vom Hotel aus konnte man direkt in die Stadt oder in den nahegelegenen Park gehen (toll für unseren Hund). Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen lecker und die Zimmer sehr schön und einladend. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

This is a lovely hotel with comfortable rooms and a really good breakfast. The friend I was travelling with has celiacs but there was gluten free cornflakes and bread available so she didn’t miss out, the veggie breakfast was good too. Having learned it’s dog friendly we will be back with our hounds.

The Bedford Hotel was a charming hotel, full of character and warm, welcoming staff. My only concern was hearing the floors creaking in the room above ours when the guests came in and I was trying to get to sleep - and although they turned out to be quiet, if they were less so, it might have become irritating if they had not been.

Great town hotel; upgraded to a large king bed instead of a single room which was booked which was very quiet even with a 18 year old party downstairs. Lots of sockets to do some work from, only needs a couple of USB sockets and maybe a bit of work in the bathrooms and this hotel would be pretty much perfect!
