The staff that you have is great, even that tha young onces aren’t so good as the old. Life is about ”smalltalk” not about hanging on the phone.

Rooms to the High Street are exposed to weekend evening noise. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Efficient communications and checking; pleasant and capable staff; convenient town centre location; free overnight street parking in front (and room for motorcycles on pavement); modern bathrooms; good restaurant food and drinks; wide range of breakfasts options.

Helpful and friendly staff, great vegan breakfast, clean and inviting spacious room. Right in the centre of Cardigan and overnight parking in pay and display car park right behind it, just a £1 for overnight parking!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Lion. From the moment we walked through the door, we were made welcome and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The room was tastefully decorated, specious and clean. The food served was delicious. Would recommend this hotel.

Lovely overnight winter stay. Hotel and rooms are spotless. Comfy bed with quality bedding, everything felt of good quality. Excellent shower and modern bathroom. We chose the Black Lion as we prefer to stay and eat in establishments that do not allow dogs and there aren't many now ( I know some people would disagree and want to take their dogs everywhere but we all need a place we can feel comfortable in and every other venue in town seems to accept dogs now so dog owners have plenty of options). We had a meal in the bar which was excellent quality and breakfast was included in our stay with plenty of choices available. Attention to detail in the refurb of the building is a credit to the owners and staff. It is just a beautiful building! Last but not least every member of staff we met were friendly, engaging and professional so all in all a fabulous stay and I would highly recommend. Hospitality like it used to be!

Excellent stay. Great welcome and an un-planned early departure due to a family emergency meant i was going to miss breakfast....the lovely staff ensured i had a coffee to go and a bite to eat to take away. Many thanks, See you again!
