Amazing hotel. The suite we stayed in was fabulous. The bathroom was spotless with a great shower. Eating in the hotel restaurant was a pleasure, the chef's creations were so tasty. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely come back.

Good hotel. Food & beverages excellent. Considering the current COVID restrictions the service was very good. Staff very pleasant and engaging. Reservation was prepaid via Hotels.com but was charged again for accommodation by the hotel at check out. Didn't reslise this u til i checked my Amex statement. Awaiting a refund from hotel. Hopefully nothing more than an oversight.

Staff - very attentive and helpful. Food - excellent. Room - impressively large, but tiny TV compared to the size of the room. En-suite could do with being updated (the shower over the bath leaked from the seal where it joined the bath). The stairs could do with vacuuming more often as "bits" on the day we arrived were still there when we left!

Perfect hotel. Stopped on my way through to Halstead. Unfortunately I arrived after 9pm due to traffic delays so wasn’t able to sample an evening meal. Real friendly staff, nice and clean and very warming.

The location of the hotel is second to none. Fronting Long Melford green. Our room overlooked the green And the interesting roof tops of the period houses opposite. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too.
