Everything from the moment we arrived was first class, We ate shortly after booking in, mid afternoon, the staff couldnt have been more helpful. The food is definitely top notch , The Carrington Steak and Ale pie is bot to be missed. Really can't fault the Carrington on any level, Great place and if we are in the area again we will book again. Nearly forgot, the breakfast WOW ,,,,

The Carrington Arms is a lovely place to stay. We stayed there last year whilst visiting our 97 year old aunt and returned this year for her 98th. The hotel is very interesting and old, but the rooms annex has all the modern accommodation people would want. It would be lovely if there was a little more information about the history of the building. I will do a little research myself. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was spectacular. Hopefully we will be back next year.

We knew the Carrington Arms as a great place to eat. With a drive of only 10 minutes to the Theatre it proved an excellent.overnight stop with a great breakfast. The hot, sunny weather was a surprise and we sat outside enjoying a drink and reading in the garden before leaving. We will definitely be back.

We found our room to be extremely clean with all the facilities that we needed. The fridge in the room is also a nice touch. This is the second time that we’ve stayed here and thoroughly recommend
