Lovely stay with a spacious, comfortable room. The jacuzzi bath was particularly nice. Friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was tasty and served in a lovely room. The history of this building is fascinating. Lots to do in Cardiff Bay as well.

The historical building is beautiful and fascinating although finding your way through the building is not straight forward. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had Sunday Roast and two breakfasts in the restaurant and the food and service were very good. Our room was large, the bed comfortable and the shower and towels were very nice. The decor is a bit quirky (lots of gold painted furniture) but I guess it fits the period of the building. The location is great too — just a short walk to the waterfront. I enjoyed my time there.

The Hotel was absolutely amazing for our 2 night stay with me my husband and 4 children. The family room was absolutely amazing, the tea and coffee facilities were amazing, especially the double spa bath!! Only tiny thing i could think of was not being able to connect my tv to a. Iphone as its easier done with a android. My son who is autistic keeps talking about the room number home he loved it that much. Staff were amazing. We barely drove but as its so central we walked everywhere. The breakfast ah!!! It was amazing the variety of choices my kids were doomed! Especially when they saw bread and chocolate spread. Will highly recommend, definitely paid the moneys worth! Ill definitely be back with more of my family 😊 Thank you 🙏

Excellent experience. Historic and stunning building being passionately restored. By staying here you can help contribute to its restoration. Service was outstanding. Building in parts is a bit rough. Rooms are eclectic and simple. Restaurant on site was fabulous. If you’re looking for a special experience and doing good by helping the restoration effort stay here. If you’re looking for a Holiday Inn experience stay elsewhere. Near Cardiff Bay which is nice. Train stop nearby goes downtown and also to sights further away like Caerphilly Castle. Boat at the Bay goes to Cardiff Castle.
