As i was on foot ( by Train ) i wanted some where near the Station to commute between Carnforth and Silverdale to access the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss and this Hotel fit the bill,very good value for money too for 3 nights. A decent sized room ( Double ) ,there is plenty of Car parking spaces also if needed,i didnt try their Breakfasts, as i needed to be out early morning.

Our overnight was prior to Settle-Carlisle Railway, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time - bar, restaurant and lodging were all great. The guestrooms in the building behind the brasserie were so quiet and pleasant. Emily served us on both arrival and departure and was helpful many times in between! She's so friendly and ready to assist at any point, and she made our stay a pleasure.

Better than expected. Spacious room lovely bathroom. Good variety of foods in continental breakfast. Delicious reasonably priced fish and chips for dinner. House wine surprisingly inexpensive and good quality. Staff lovely

Was pleasantly impressed with the room . Comfortable and twin beds were a second bedroom which was very nice giving us each our own space. Staff were friendly and price was good as well!

The tv ,how do you get away with the tiny 12 inch tv belongs in a museum ,everything else was excellent only let down by the Tv if I stay again I’ll phone to see if your up to the present day with the tv not back in the 1950 s

We ordered a family room as was in Lancaster taking a tour of the University with my daughter. On arrival we were told they had allocated us two rooms as the pull out bed in the family room wasn't really suitable for an adult. They didn't have to do this as my daughter would have slept ok on the on the 3rd bed but they put our comfort first at no extra cost. Rooms were a great size and very clean so if my daughter does pick Lancaster as her university we will definitely stay again

Surprisingly quirky set up with the rooms being in a separate annex building, but surprising only because it was very comfortable, quiet and clean throughout. Hospitable host, and staff, served up a tasty meal and drinks perfectly and I will have no hesitation in staying here again.

Stayed here to visit family. Great location and hotel. The room was large and spacious with all the facilities we needed. Bathroom very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant the night we arrived which was superb. Chose not to have breakfast as ate out later in the morning
