This was my second stay at The Crown at Harnhill, and once again, it did not disappoint! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, well-kept, and had all the little touches that make a stay extra special. A good night’s sleep was guaranteed with the cozy bed and peaceful surroundings. The food was another highlight! I started with the scampi and pork crackling, and let’s be honest—who can say no to pork crackling? Both were absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor. My main was just as impressive, and breakfast the next morning was amazing. I had the Eggs Benedict, which was cooked to perfection, and the ham was to die for—so full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It’s clear that The Crown at Marnhill prides itself on excellent service and high-quality hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning again in the future. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely, welcoming pub. Really good food and bedroom warm and comfortable after a cold day of racing at Wincanton ! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with great choice. Will be back!

The evening vibe is absolutely fantastic, with the perfect mix of lively energy and cozy comfort. The food is nothing short of amazing—every dish is prepared with care and full of flavor. On top of that, the service is exceptional, with staff who go above and beyond to make your experience special. We had a very comfortable room for one night. The staff were very welcoming. We had dinner in the pub which was nice, but not exceptional. Breakfast was lovely although you had to decide the night before what you were going to eat.

Excellent family stay. Highly recommended. Our only down side comment, the family room could do with an opening window, but as the room was so big, we coped with it. The Crown has a very interesting historical past.

We had another lovely stay at the Crown. Have been here a number of times and is definitely our favourite pub and place to stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean and warm and warm, food is excellent and the beer and pub environment also excellent. All of the staff are really pleasant, attentive and nothing is too much trouble, Recommend the Crown to anybody
