Lovely hotel in a small prretty village. Good food in rhe pub, very dog friendly and very relaxed friendly staff. On arrival our allotted room only had a shower. I was really hoping for a bath, so the owner very kindly upgraded us to a room with a bath. Would definitely stay again. Plenty of walks from the door.

Lovely room the only two minor winges were that the room was on the third floor and the radiator was in dire neef of bleeding.

The stay was perfect. Wonderful service. The staff were delightful. Breakfast was delicious & so was dinner. The room was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be going back.

An excellent location for a walking weekend. Check in from 3.30 only but there’s lovely walks from the village to keep you busy. Check in was good with a friendly welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. You cloud hear the owl in the woods at night it was such a peaceful location. We had a wonderful evening meal, a little more than we might pay at home but it was beautifully cooked and value for money. Breakfast was equally delicious. I had the superfood breakfast. Sourdough toast. Smoked salmon poached egg scattered with mixed seeds. Lovely. Great service excellent night away.

The staff at The Crown were excellent. Not only giving really good service but so friendly and helpful with it. The quality of the food both at breakfast and dinner was also very good with some great menu choices. we shall be returning with our dog who also loved the hotel.

This hotel is better look than the photos on the website. everything is good except difficult to find the location. If you use google or tom tom be very careful it will guide you to a road close direction or into the small river then you would drain.......I would suggest people arrive there not during the late evening to avoid difficult find the locatioin. I was very lucky to meet Ellen in the other pub, the lady was very kind to go back her house and use her car drove 20 mins to guide me to this hotel. it was so touched by local nice people. I had a fantastic time in the areas. My room is warm, and comfortable, the show is good. food is good. I shall come back again!
