Very comfortable room, nice touches with water, good quality ground coffee, a cafetiere and what looked like home made cookies. Staff gave us a small flask of fresh milk. Our room had an outside seating area with a lovely view over the river at the back.

We stayed at The Dundas when attending a wedding nearby, and it was just lovely. Wonderful staff, super friendly. Our room was great, the bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to get out of it! Beautiful surroundings by the canal, we had a lovely private patio out to the water. Hoping to return for lunch in warmer weather!

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Matty the Manager went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, and was really good as a people person, very ably help by his assistant manager Liam. We loved the setting, adjacent to the Canal, breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend this team and venue

A beautiful spot to stay, plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and chatty, especially Rosalind, made us feel we belonged. Our bed was very comfortable and the room quite spacious with a terrace and river outside our patio doors. Only thing we didn't like was the weather, but that's England for you in March!! :o)

The Dundas Arms is in an amazing Location and the river rooms with the outlook made our stay so memorable. All the staff are so pleased to help and their service is prompt and nothing is to much trouble. The Beer garden is also kept very well and atmospheric in its surroundings. The menu would be great with a few extra options if you are staying for a few days. We would definitely book again.

It’s a beautiful place to stay and sit in the garden surrounded by rivers, nice weather makes it even better. Would be a great wedding reception venue. Very good staff, a great Sunday roast, not the cheapest though, closing times quite early on a Sunday, kitchen closes 6pm, bar at 8. Get the rooms with river view, well worth it, our room ‘teal’ could do with a deep clean in terms of few cobwebs and wall marks but that is the ONLY negative the rest is fantastic.

This unique inn is situated on a little island in the middle of a canal. The restaurant is on the canal. The rooms are also on the canal. Step out of the back door of your room onto a waterfront patio in which there is a table and chairs and a wonderful place for relaxing. The inn has an excellent bar. The restaurant offers a decent menu and good food. Friendly helpful staff enhance the experience. Warning: there is a train track and station close by that occasionally provides some sounds that break the silence and tranquility (and could be considered noise) from time to time but, viewed correctly, can afford some additional charm. The uniqueness, charm and positives of this place outweigh this potential negative factor in my opinion.
