We liked our room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. There was a little noise on Friday evening, but then you would expect that at a pub.

Lovely little place to stay, had everything we needed. Could hear music from downstairs but wasnt to bad and not late. Lovely friendly staff. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful pub, lovely rooms, bed and duvet so comfy, we had a great beer and gathered with friends in the beer garden, great evening and great nights sleep, we will definitely come back, may be on the main road but so quiet.

The foresters were our choices when we were going to a wedding in Peckforton. This is a wonderful place to stay, the hosts were very friendly, the room was surprisingly large, with lots of lovely white fluffy towels, and the best sleep in ages. If I'm being honest, I can't find anything wrong here. I really recommend staying here if you're in the area, and thank you Suzanne Gary for a wonderful stay. I hope to meet you again someday, ex.

Thank you. We stayed here for one night on the sandstone trail, and the staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome, as well as fed and rested properly. The personal terrace was perfect for us, the entire stay was very nice.

Nice staff, excellent Sunday lunch that I couldn't eat because the plate was stacked. Warm and comfy bed, couldn't fill kettle in the small sink. Shower was feeble. I didn't pay for the ritz, it was great for what I wanted.

This is my first time staying here. This place has a fantastic price. I just arrived at the foresters arms on friday with June. We left the sandstone trail at 16 miles. When we arrived, the staff was very friendly. Excellent selection of beverages. The room was prepared by the scheduled time. Breakfast and dinner were served. The cuisine was delicious. The entire staff was a credit to the organization. The residents' only balcony and sun terrace were an additional advantage. We enjoyed dinner and beverages outdoors. On the hottest day of the year, just the job. The location is in the picturesque village of Tarporley. excellent value for your money. I will not complain. You pay for what you get. The negative reviews of this property appear to be searching for a luxury hotel! They, of course, cost much more per night than at the Foresters Arms! Special thanks to the mayor. When they ran out, she drove across the street to the store to get my other half gluten-free bread. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommended for all, especially those traveling the Sandstone Trail. Wishing the Foresters Arms continued success.

Very noisy until 1am, room over the bar and beer garden. Sounded like a dish washer came on at 5am. Smell of cooking from the kitchen. Bathroom so small when you bent to wash your face you had to have the door open.

Room was tired and need refresh, cracked decor. Beds were clean. Light pollution from garden into room, lack of decent curtains. No breakfast during weekdays, did not bother with weekend. Noisy environment from pub and landlord’s flat next to room. Would not recommend.

Staff were polite and welcoming, The room was very small with toilet in one corner and shower in another the shaving light did not work and could not be repaired as it was out of date. No breakfast or evening food available despite it being adverisised on their website. The whole ptemises could do with a renivation.
