Our Dog was welcomed. Very friendly and approachable staff, our room was as expected clean and exactly what we required as being disabled, on the ground floor and a walk in shower. We had no problems getting there, and being there, staff were excellent and attentive, Especially Gavin GM. Dale HM, and Pete the Executive Chef. Other staff were friendly and helpful too. We had a great stay.

Had an overall great stay! Very clean and nice staff. The only thing that’s negative worth mentioning was that it took a very long time to get hot water in the shower and the tub. And after the hot water was running in the tub there was no way to get the cold water running. Except for this, a comfy bed and nice breakfast made this a nice stop along the way.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very comfortable. Prices very reasonable. Some basics not provided such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Sauna in room most enjoyable.

Off/on switch on tv didn't work...receptionist showedushow to bypass this issue. Off/on switch on towel drying rack didn't work...receptionist was unable to resolve this issue. Very nice room...very friendly and helpful staff...would stay here again in an instant...

Hotel was great and so we stayed an extra night as the area was great just what we were looking for in Scotland as we were traveling around . We had a slight issue at first as we were in a party of 4 and had to get a extra bed in the room but the Staff wee great and when back in the area we would like to stay again great staff very helpful

In my room, the cleanliness of the room was clean and the ambiance was good, they served a delicious breakfast and a perfect cooked full Scottish breakfast, a friendly staff, the breakfast was great, the breakfast was good.

On a recent trip, we stopped for breakfast. Excellent breakfast room, restaurant with a tranquil view of the water. Tell us what you dont want as an option for breakfast: full Scottish. That was fine with us, I assume there must have been other choices available upon request? The contents were described, but when ours arrived, they were minus the promised mushrooms, tomatoes, potato scone, the white bread was brown, and my wife had black pudding on hers, which she had asked not. We did receive a potato scone each after mentioning it, but that was it, and the rest never popped up. Apart from the horrible plastic sausages, what we got was decent, but it wasnt exactly what was ordered. There were obvious kitchen problems that day because two other tables were talking about the same thing. However, the young man serving was kind and understanding and doing his best in challenging circumstances. Affordable price. Hopefully, it was just a bad day in the kitchen office. Its a shame because it is in a lovely location.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Grey Gull Hotel. The hotel is a little dated in places, but our room was clean and spacious with a nicely renovated bathroom. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, including with our dog. Food was tasty and reasonably priced too. Great value for money and we’d stay again.
