Clean rooms fantastic breakfast. Only thing when checking in was our keys was just left on reception and no one to greet us. But other than that a great stay.

Lovely warm Cumbrian welcome by our host. Enjoyed a chat over a pint at the bar. Breakfast was lovely they couldn’t do enough for you even pandering to my son’s straight breakfast requests. Thank you.

Staff and room. Room was very big and comfortable. Nicely decorated hotel and Jacob and the lady, I didn't get the name of, in the bar/restaurant were very welcoming and friendly, a credit to the hotel.I'm 43 now so if I have got Jacobs name wrong please accept my apologies. Food was excellent too and reasonably priced .

For the 4th year running we stayed at the hotel. Again, great hosts, great breakfasts, really good taste and not greasy. Great hospitality and goodbdrinksband prices in the bar in the hotel. We have just booked a other 4 rooms for August Bank Holiday next year. I would reccomend booking the hotel early ad this sells out quickly.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel during my recent trip. It’s located in Workington, just a short drive from the Lake District, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, always ready with great recommendations and a friendly smile. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh and high-quality options. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy everything the Lake District has to offer. Very nice family run hotel. Wide range of food on the menu, all excellent and well priced (large portions). Wide variety of drinks available from the bar. Very welcoming and the locals that visited the bar were all good for a chat. Will be staying again.

A beautiful family run hotel. Great large meals and a nice bar. Friendly staff and nice getting to know some of the locals. This place had a gorgeous garden and this was done by the owner Paul. We loved our 2 night stay and the breakfast was awesome. Paul.was a great host abdceven took for a drive to show us the local attractions.
