Perfectly located, welcoming staff. I checked into my room an hour early as they said it was clean and available. Very modern and clean room, would recommend to anyone.

Less than a five-minute walk from the train station and about an eight-minute walk from the castle. All the staff were very warm and helpful.

Hotel senza grandi pretese, ma pulito ed efficiente. Stanze non molto grandi ma provviste di tutto. Personale gentile. Punto di forza la posizione, a due passi dalla navetta aeroportuale e dal centro storico.

Dit motel geboekt na lezen van reviews, ligging perfect ik heb niks te klagen over wat dan ook. Gewoon goed! 1 x ontbijt genomen 12,50,- pond pp wat erg lekker was.Maar gezien wij de énige in ontbijtzaal waren en dus niet heel gezellig eten is het daarbij gelaten.

Goede accomodatie netjes verzorgt aardig personeel,verder simpel knap geen poespas. Super centraal direct achter de royal mile ,direct naast een steeg die naar de royal mile loopt. Super hot!

De ligging is perfect, midden in het oude centrum. Zeer schoon, elke dag schone lakens en handdoeken. Goede badkamer en erg aardig personeel.

Spacious room. Excellent location..walking distance to major tourist attractions, great restaurants and Waverly station. No elevator for 500 series suites, but staff are happy to help. Would definitely stay here again.

It's pretty basic, but clean, nice, and with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect if you want to see the sights of the Old Town. Nice shower, which is important to us. Has an elevator, which is always a good thing. Hotel staff was great, very responsive, and arranged a taxi to the airport very early the morning, which was on time and reasonably priced. Only thing I'd say is the mattress was not the newest, but still we did sleep well.

I really cannot fault this place! The building is part of a superb conversion of the former offices of The Scotsman newspaper, and the conversion itself is brilliant - all the style and atmosphere of the magnificent old building, but a modern, comfortable and easy-access boutique hotel. Staff are excellent (if a little inexperienced in a few cases), always helpful and caring. Breakfast is high-standard and freshly served. Room was well equipped and spacious, well furnished, and with a decent shower bathroom. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of Princes St and Edinburgh Waverley Station - I would suggest they make more use of the designation "The Scotsman old buidling" in describing the location as my taxi driver had difficulty identifying the destination. All in all a very pleasant experience

Great location just off Royal Mile and 10mins walk to castle. Also close to Waverly station and Princess St. Nice rooms and bathrooms - staff very friendly and speak many languages. The bar could be better stocked and some mood lighting and music would not go amiss. Have stayed here three times since 2016 and can highly recommend - must visit to the small Italian restaurant across the road - family run with great food and staff - also lots of other restaurants around and some nice coffee shops and bars.
