Property was fine, the staff were really good and my room was clean. Breakfast was first class. Be aware that you have to park your car in the local car park, which is chargeable.

Great guest house, nice people who run it and a cracking view to wake up to in the morning. The breakfast was welcome and filling after the long walk the day before. Will stay again if I'm in the area.

Very quaint pub, great landlord who cooks a fantastic breakfast. Limited parking but public paid carpark just around the corner.

Stayed here for 3 nights recently. It's a family owned business, with a good selection of local real ales. Everyone very friendly, cooked breakfast started each day on the right footing. Dog friendy - and he appreciated his own sausage each morning. Great location for walking - Kinder Scout and Derwent Water a short drive or Buxton, Bakewell or Matlock - perfect break
