Lovely bar, good atmosphere. Room not so good, smelt damp & awful smell in the bathroom from the drains. No evening meal as the gas was off. Needs a lot of money spending on it

Hired a twin room for the night whilst staying with my daughter after a previous bad experience at a different hotel. The room was clean, the TV worked and the pressure in the shower was nice to me. Stopped for a beer in the pub (noise from which was not heard in the room) and the ladies working were polite and helpful. I felt I received good value for money, I would happily return and would be glad to recommend to others

A friendly initial welcome and then the same for 4 days with the staff and locals all happy to have a chat. This is a good budget place to stay and offers excellent value. Have already arranged to stay again next year.

Lovely little pub, friendly staff and locals and a good vibe. The cups in the room for brews were dirty and the shower was weak but for less than a hundred quid it was fine. The chefs never turned up for work so the food was made by the landlady which was nice of her. If we're in Tamworth again, we'll definitely consider staying here again

Parking was easy on site and within view of our room. The Guy that greeted us was cheerful, pleasant and efficient. The room was basic, clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value for money.

Friendly staff. Small compact room. Found the bed extremely comfy. Can be a little noisy as it is a working premises, but didnt stop us from sleeping.
