영국 올때마다 이동하기 편한 빅토리아 근처에 숙소를 잡다가 처음으로 마일스톤에 머물렀는데 처음 도착했을때부터 마지막으로 떠날때까지 따스하다는 느낌이 드는 숙소였어요. 여행 후반부라 많이 지쳤있었지만 떠날때는 직원분들과 헤어진다는 생각에 뭔가 뭉클한 느낌마저 들었어요 : ) 뭐 그렇게 많이 이야기를 나누거나 한 것도 아니지만 따스한 분위기를 만드는 직원분들과 머무른다는 것이 정말 중요한듯합니다 : ) 그리고 아침식사! 따로 메뉴를 주문하지 않아도 부족하지않을만큼 과일, 요거트, 견과류, 스무디, 빵 등 기본적으로 제공되는 아침식사가 매우 훌륭합니다. 다만 저와 가족들은 항상 Full Vegiterian을 먹는편이라 마일스톤에서도 이 메뉴를 시켰는데 아보카드가 신선하게 썰어나오는 대신 튀겨나오고 시금치는 없고….호텔마다 조금씩 구성이 다를수는 있지만 기름진 음식이 많이 들어갔다는 것이 조금 의외였어요. 하지만 빵도 다양하게 고를 수있고 주문할 수있는 메뉴도 많아서 아침식사는 만족했습니다. 한가지 아쉬운 점은 욕실인데요. 세명이 여행하다보니 방을 두 개 예약했고, 크기는 같았지만 방마다 분위기나 구성이 달랐어요. 제가 사용한 방은 문이 달린 샤워부스와 욕조까지 둘 다 있어서 편했어요. 그런데 엄마와 이모가 사용한 방은 샤워부스는 없고 욕조에 유리칸막이가 반쯤 달린 형태였어요. 불편해보여서 제가 방을 바꾸자고했지만 괜찮다고 우기셔서 그대로 방을 사용했고 마지막 날 제가 그 방에서 샤워를 했는데 많이 불편해서 너무 죄송한 생각이 들었어요ㅠㅠ 일단 욕조에 들어가면 욕조 바닥이 평평하지가않고 중앙이 좀 더 깊고 바깥쪽으로 갈수록 높아지는 형태라 밖에서 볼때보다 좁고 서있을 때 좀 불안한 느낌입니다. 천장 고정 샤워기가 있으나 작고 수압이 약해서 사용할 수가없습니다. 대신 수압이 훨씬 좋은 욕조 샤워기를 사용해야 하는데 샤워기를 걸 곳이 없어요ㅜㅜ 한손으로 잡고 머리도 감고 씻고 해야되다보니 두 분은 허리도 아프신데 아예 욕조에 앉으셔서 씻으셨다고ㅜㅜ 샤워기를 걸어두고 씻을 수있도록 샤워기 걸이대를 설치하면 좋을듯합니다.

Small rooms with low ceilings in a great location. The hotel lobby and staff are excellent and they accommodate me with early check in at 8:30 am! Hard to beat that level of flexibility!

Loved our time at Milestone. Excellent staff and rooms. We brought our 20-month old girl and felt right at home. Food and tea were great. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting London wanting to stay in an excellent location.

Amazing. This is a traditional hotel with immaculate, old skool service and attention to detail. The staff are courteous and polite and do everything to make you feel at home - if only it was! Great location right opposite the park and conveniently situated for transportation. 10 stars!

We absolutely love The Milestone and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in London. Every visit feels like coming home. The staff are genuinely lovely—warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make your stay special. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and there’s a real sense of comfort the moment you walk through the door. It truly is a home from home, and I can’t recommend it highly enough

Extrem zuvorkommendes, engagiertes und höffliches Personal. Man fühlt sich willkommen und umsorgt. Es wird viel Rücksicht auf persönliche Wünsche genommen. Zudem ist das Hotel und die Zimmer sehr gepflegt und auch das Essen besticht durch seine hohe Qualität und liebevolle Präsentation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Milestone. Our family was traveling with our baby and the staff was incredibly accommodating, providing a crib and excellent service. The staff at the hotel was second to none and catered to our every need. Between the service, the classic London charm, and wonderful accommodations we were impressed by every part of our stay at the Milestone. Five stars. Highly recommend.

Es war ein sehr freundlicher Empfang im Hotel. Vormittags vor dem Check-in die Koffer zu deponieren, war einfach möglich. Im Hotel und Zimmer hingen Gemälden und Grafiken, welche das hohe Niveau unterstrichen. Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Frühstück a la carte und Buffet. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder beim nächsten mal in London.

A hotel in a very good location. Small scale means that the guest is paid attention. As it is England it is not perfection but that is compensated by the staff really making an effort and correcting the small detours.

The stay at the Milestone Hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The most impressive thing about the hotel was that the staff. From Tim as the doorman, and Jorge and Stephen as the Concierge staff, we were well taken care of and they truly represented Milestone's 5 star status. The room was also outstanding with a lot of character. We stayed in the Matisse suite with authentic Matisse artwork. Wow! When we return to London, we will stay at the Milestone...a truly top notch hotel.
