This place is amazing. The owner and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The accommodations are comfortable and clean with ample parking. The breakfast was traditional and well proportioned, a treat to start the day. The evening menu was full of delicious comfort food and varied throughout the week.

We chose the hotel to fish the local river we. Not good in the recent heat wave from a fishing perspective. But the owners and staff were excellent and the hotel was spotless. Superb bar with great beers and of course good banter and fishy tales. Lovely place and only 15 minutes from hay on us. We will 100 times return.

The smell of a red brick former coaching inn is what makes it interesting. They serve great food in breakfast. Then they served it with great soup - so good, like the chicken pie and the beef brisket with port the next night. Besides that, the personnel was also very friendly and helpful.

Took my first trip to Red Lion in September. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was really good and the kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate my 1-year-old.

A fantastic place to stay and fish in an old coaching innpubhotel. Great food and the best owner and staff. Highly recommended as a base to fish the local river we. One of the premier rivers for barrel and crab fishing with five to six miles of river to fish, good access with the right vehicle. The level is greatly affected by rainfall and can change in hours.
