Hotel is on the university campus. Limited parking during the week, a little further away, plenty of parking on the weekend of when school is out. Comfortable and clean room, very quiet around the hotel, plenty of food and small shopping areas within 5 minute walk. Walk. Castle in attractions are a short 30 minute walk. Restaurant downstairs if needed. Quick check in.

Easy parking. Free EV charging is a bonus. Location is ok. Bit far out of city centre but great place for walk in the park. Clean and modern room. Breakfast was fine. Nothing special.

stayed here with my husband for our first wedding anniversary from 21/4/23 til 25/4/23 breakfast was amazing each morning my husband especially loved the Scottish breakfast and I tried it as well and to my surprise loved haggis when I had it in England I didn't like it but loved it on your Scottish breakfast. the coffee was lush and the breakfast set us up for the day. they knew it was our anniversary so when we arrived we saw in our room a little Scottish postcard and a few treats for our anniversary which was very thoughtful . always very clean and tidy every time we returned to our room later that day . staff was helpful and kind I think we spoke to one lady at breakfast I think her name was Cheryl I can't remember but she is a credit to you very friendly and kind . overall amazing hotel and great price for what you get , if I could say one thing to slightly improve guests comfort I would say maybe put a small makeup mirror with lights in the room as it struggled to do my makeup for our meals out because the light was very dim . overall top notch hotel and I would stay there again if we were back in Edinburgh Mr and Mrs Thompson (stayed in room 305)
