I loved my four nights at The Store!!! It started with the amazing welcome by the friendly staff and a welcome drink upon a very hot arrival. My room was upgraded due to my Expedia status without even asking, and I was offered the food and beverage credit upon check-in. I have found that to get these perks at some VIP hotels, you often have to ask specifically. The room itself was so clean, bright, and cheerful, and they had lovely music playing upon arrival....small touches that make an environment feel very welcoming. The waters and such in the minibar were included and restocked daily. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily. The air conditioning was a bit weak, but I asked for a fan, and it arrived at my room within minutes. The restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner. The spa's thermal area, which guests enjoy at no cost, was lovely. The only con I encountered was that I was never able to get the screen casting to work, and on the last day, the channels on my TV stopped working. The pros more than made up for that. Everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the spa area. The room was a bright, calming oasis at the end of a long day. I was truly sad to check out. This was a wonderful stay! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. When I return to Oxford, this will definitely be where I stay!

Everything was great - except for check out. Had to ask a second time to not be charged for breakfast morning of departure and cab ordered didn’t show / staff had to be pushed to help me. After a really nice stay the exit experience fell far short of expectations.

Great check-in experience. Staff was super friendly, helpful and provided excellent orientation on hotel and its amenities. Offered to help with orientation to city and restaurants. Room was not ready when we arrived but they texted to let us know when room was ready and moved our luggage into room. Food at the restaurant was good and we also tried out room service as we were watching World Cup matches. Quality of food was good but more training for staff taking order (how many people or sets of cutlery do you need? Would you like any beverages, etc.) would be helpful. Breakfast service was inconsistent. Staff did not clear tables even though they were walking by tables with dirty dishes. A teamwork and training issue? It took a while to place our order on the first morning but it was much better on the second day. Otherwise… facility is in a great location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again in next visit to Oxford.

Our daughter stayed there, she was presenting for her PhD at Oxford’s U and we were supposed to be present there, however, the visa glitch for my wife prevented us from attending. According to my daughter she had great time at the hotel

Beautiful stay at The Store. It is in the centre of Oxford and in walking distance of all local restaurants and the new theatre. We arrived slightly early, but were able to complete pre check in and our bags were kept safely. We headed up to the terrace bar while waiting for our room - beautiful views! Every member of staff was exceptional, couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We will definitely choose The store again on our next visit. Tip: if travelling by car - park at Westgate only a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

We had a great stay at The Store. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony looking down on Broad Street. Thank you! The hotel is immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. After our dinner plans, we had a lovely time in the bar with friends where the seating is comfortable, service was good and drinks choice wide. Our only small complaint was the room doors. They are heavy and really bang when they shut - we were woken by neighbouring rooms in the middle of the night and very early in the morning. Maybe The Store can look into some soft close hinges?!

Our room was lovely, with a balcony looking out over Magdalen College. The location is fabulous, close to the Covered Market, Sheldonian Theater, and so much more. Would recommend a cab from the train station, as it's a haul up the hill. The bar made fantastic cocktails (unusual in these parts). Dinner was very good. Overall, would recommend for location, service, and cleanliness.

We had a wonderful stay at The Store. It is perfectly situated in the center of Oxford. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was far more than the usual American continental breakfast with several nice options you can order from a menu. The onsite restaurant was great and the rooftop bar was a bonus with an amazing view.

Welcoming and warm from the moment you step inside the Store! All the staff were friendly and more than happy to help with any request! Only the gym room was a little on the small side, if fitness is needed for part of your stay you may need to find a local gym. Breakfast was great and a thoughtful take on the UK staples… overall, incredibly happy and will return for sure!

This is our 3rd stay at the Store in the past 7 months and won’t be our last. We love staying at this central, modern and well designed hotel. It has the right amount of luxury and the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The rooms do vary but we have begun to become familiar with some of the rooms. They have a very good breakfast with some continental items but you may also order from the à la carte menu. We chose not to include breakfast this time only because we eat too much when we do! We also booked the complimentary 1 hour in the thermal suite which my husband throughly enjoys. They also have additional paid spa services you could book which I’m sure are lovely but we haven’t had an opportunity to do so yet. The hotel is centrally located right on Broad Street but the windows to the rooms are very well soundproofed so I was never bothered by any street noise but on occasion in the mid morning I would hear footsteps from the room above us (they sounded like heavy footed walkers!). Do note that you can’t drive up to the hotel doors but you can stop your car a 2 minute walk away and they will come help you with your luggage if you need it. Also note that they don’t have parking, but there is a car park a 5 minute walk away. It’s expensive (£35-40 per 24 hrs) so do factor that in when you travel to Oxford (as I believe most hotels don’t have parking). The hotel also has a lovely (small) rooftop Terrace bar which is great on nice days. You can sit outside or inside

The staff were the most welcoming staff I have ever experienced. So friendly and so kind. They even gave our 9 month old baby a toy. Very accommodating. Amazing room with stunning views!!!
