We have been here several times and every time we visit we are blown away by the staff, location, rooms, and food. If I could live here I would. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, and the staff is beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Recently, Ruby was delighted to find this place. This place has a great welcome and attentive front desk. Ruby was delicious. The menu was nice as it was not overly large and freshly prepared and not overly juggled. The ingredients speak for themselves.

The restaurant was packed with people, children, and dogs so we decided to sit outside with our dog and watch the lovely cove. The dinner menu was short, which is always a good thing, the wine list was interesting, the quality of the ingredients and the quality of the cooking were exceptional. Slightly disappointing that although the steak came with fries, the sole had no accompaniment, so fries were an additional 5 on an already expensive dish. A delicious dinner by an accomplished chef with friendly staff, but be ready to pay.

Allinol was very disappointing and we won't go back. A beautiful large corner room with great views, but having paid well for our accommodation, we would have anticipated some decent updates and even someone checking every day to ensure there was still enough of everything, including loo rolls and soap. We didn't anticipate having to ask for teaming facilities in the room. Nothing better than an early morning cuppa or coffee when you woke up, even on a beautifully sunny day. The dining room is more a cafeteria than a restaurant, with very basic furnishings more suited for a fast food takeaway. Breakfast should always be included in the price, and having to pay additional for everything from a pair of boiled eggs to toast was unacceptable over the high room rate. The steaks on our second night were terrible, and although they were replaced by pork chops and a gorgeous fish dish, they shouldn't have been on the menu, they were so hard and inedible. The only plus point was the lovely receptionist, who appeared to do almost everything, from keeping an open fire well stoked to serving at the table, and probably cooking as well when the chef needs a night off.

We had another stay in this lovely little hotel. Superb position above Hope Cove, small and comfortable with delicious food, great service, friendly staff and all you could want to switch off for a while.
