Very helpful, friendly staff and thought had been taken with the room facilities with a large fan added in the bedroom for use if needed during the current heatwave. This is in a historic building so some squeaky floors, as can be expected in a building of this age. The food was very good, both breakfast and the evening meals. Good atmosphere and convenient walking distance uphill to the railway and bus station.

A welcoming homely hotel a short distance from rail/bus station and local amenities. Our room was clean and made up daily. A leak found in the bathroom was quickly repaired and the management were extremely efficient and apologetic. All staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The bar is great and frequented by both locals and hotel guests and the food is superb! Unfortunately, due to sudden illness, a visit to A&E was required on our third night and I commend the hotel staff and management for their concern and assistance during and after the event. We will definitely book again.

A last minute change of plan saw us getting the last room available at the hotel. Superb friendly staff bent over backwards to make us welcome. A fabulous meal in the bar/restaurant and great value for money. Mikhail and Trisha were great at looking after everyone all evening. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolute delight staying here, even on their off-season. The staff were fantastic, especially the barman Michal! He in particular made the stay feel exceptional. Highly recommended.

This property was very much how you'd want the main inn of a small town to be. Charm and character, whilst also well kept, modern facilities, good service and good breakfast.

A busy Christmas meant there was not enough room at the in-laws' house. In situations like this, we usually stay at the White Hart Hotel. The hotel is situated right in the centre of town. St Austell is a modest enough destination. It's convenient for the Eden Project. I've always enjoyed our stays at the White Hart Hotel. The service is professional and friendly. Our Christmas meal was lovely. We'll definitely return.

The hotel was very good, the service by the staff was excellent. Parking, though, was not good. The hotel car park for guests was completely full even though few guest where actually staying. This meant i had to park a 10 minute walk away.

The White Hart Hotel had all the comforts for a relaxing stay. The staff was attentive and helpful, the breakfast and dinner options were excellent, and the room was large and comfortable. I would recommend a stay here as a base for visiting Cornwall.
