As ever the room, amenities, bar, food and service were very good. Do think my car has become somewhat of an attraction to the local pigeons who feel the need to make a mess almost daily but not sure the hotel can be held responsible for that! Will be back soon!

I arrived after the pub was shut, but the check in instructions I received were top notch and getting into my room was really straight forward. The room was immaculate, everything was spotless and smelt lovely. A really decent sized room and great amenities. The DIY breakfast in the room was inspired, and very generous. The bed was super comfy, lovely pillows and plenty of them, the location was fabulously quiet and I slept really well. The only issue I had was that there was no hot water in the shower but I got creative and made do with the hot tap and a jug! The towels were huge, fluffy and wonderfully warm from the heated towel rail so it wasn’t so bad. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Rooms are spacious with a comfy bed, decent shower, and a plentiful in room breakfast with a fridge which comes in useful. Staff are very good indeed and evening meals were excellent. Will be returning.

10 out of 10 for everything. Spacious family room, clean, well lit, comfy beds, great pillows. Bathroom small but excellent - good hot shower, clean mastic round shower tray, clean grouting. Great breakfast and evening meal. Really there is nothing to fault - Really would like another reason to go and stay.

Hotel exceeded our expectations - large room, comfortable bed with light breakfast included a nice touch. Even had a fan which was put to good use due to hot weather. And good value for money!

We were really impressed and will certainly keep this property in mind should we need to stay in the area again. Plus Points Having a key safe outside the room made booking in and out so easy. The room had a well stocked mini fridge, a microwave, a toaster a selection of cereals, preserves etc available for a DIY breakfast as well as a TV. All the staff we had dealings with were friendly and helpful. The meals were far larger than expected and well cooked, we actually called back on the way home for a meal because we were so impressed with the dinner we had while staying. Minus Points all of which are more of suggestions rather than complaints. No shaver socket in the bath room, a two pin plug adaptor would solve that problem although they may get pinched by some guests, similarly a USB adaptor. One other observation although I appreciate it may be due to the ongoing building work was a metal box section going across the path in the passageway, I felt it was a trip hazard which could be hazardous especially for elderly guests. Other than that All in all a great place to stay

Absolutely excellent service, outstanding food, wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Currently going through renovations but the room was very clean, DIY breakfast was topped up each day and can recommend the full English, which was an extra charge but definitely more than worth it. Thank you to all the staff and will definitely return

Easy check in. Lovely big room. Very clean with a huge bed a compact but adequate bathroom. Loved the in room continental breakfast. In all, a very comfortable nights stay and would definitely stay again.

Only stayed over for the night but was a lovley room. Very clean and very comfortable and the pub was great. Will be staying again next time im up that way
