It's a shame to get here. When we checked in, we noticed the door was locked. After being rattling it for a while, a shabby young man opened it and led us to the check-in desk. We were immediately informed that we needed to pay for the room and what we needed for breakfast. The young man was kind but didn't give a great first impression. We had reserved a double room in the room. It had decent furniture and was large and clean. There was plenty of room in the restroom and clean towels. When you switched on the hairdryer, it turned out that it didn't work, and one of the bedside lights didn't have a light bulb. The bed and two pillows each were adequate. A small packet of biscuits and tea, coffee, sugar milk were provided. We couldn't turn the radiators off, so we had to sleep with the bathroom window open, which made the hotel extremely noisy because it was on a busy main road. The breakfast that we had requested was hearty but poorly prepared. The back of the hotel's parking spaces were filthy and littered with trash in the corners. There was a strange patio area off the dining area, with mismatched furnishings and two barbecues. Although the hotel wasn't open 24 hours, we were given a code to use the side door, which

This is a bit of a strange place, there seems to be no restaurant on site, but the staff we met were friendly. We were golfing nearby early the next morning so this was perfect for us. Despite the signs, there is no bar or restaurant. Turn right out the gate and youll find a huge bar a half a mile away. There is a decent Indian restaurant next door. You have to pay up front and order breakfast at checkin. Our twin room was a bit odd but okay. I recommend staying here just for a stopover.

How do they get this place to be four star? It’s the second time I’ve stayed here and I thought I was maybe unlucky with the room, not the case, I’d say two star three with some decorating and repairs.
