Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last minute find and I would definitely stay again.

Lovely grounds and rooms. There was a wedding on which was fine aoart from some noise latecat night. The staff were great and very helpful. Tasty meal in the restaurant too

Really like this place. Amazing old building in beautiful grounds. Friendly staff, restaurant food pretty decent and rooms really nice, all at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also excellent.

Staff were pleasant and friendly. Booked the standard room which was comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom and very comfortable bed. A few minor issues including some mould around the shower and sink plug hole and there was not have much of a view.

3 Pleasant nights the evening meals were very good did not have breakfast as i was working and dose not start until 7.15 am. Easy free parking the WIFI is a bit in and out but there is a phone signal. Comfortable room could have done with a map to find it. Lovely location and a stunning building. I would stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at wortly.room and food facilities were excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The grounds are really beautiful. However i was dissapointed with the entrance steps as there were discarded cigarettes laying around and could have done with the area being swept! Made the entrance area look very tacky!and its clear to see that the area has not beencleaned for a good while.

We had a problem with the shower, the management and staff were excellent and even though the hotel was fully booked for a wedding, they dealt with it efficiently and moved us rooms. Lovely quality breakfast Lovely welcoming staff

This is a great place to stay if you want to give yourself a treat that is outside the norm of hotels. My Mum and I really enjoyed the interesting building, the friendly staff and a great dinner included breakfast. The property is undergoing some upgrades, but nothing noisy or disturbing. The bathroom we had could do with some hooks, towel rails and a shelf (caddy) in the shower - but it was all very modern.

Throughly enjoyed our overnight stay, fascinating manor we love history and this doesn't disappoint. Room 51 nice and quiet plenty of hot water and excellent breakfast. Easy parking lots of available walks in beautiful scenery

I and the other 4 visitors all loved the place. It had a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff were so accommodating welcoming and friendly, they even looked as if they enjoyed their jobs. Will definitely book on next visit to Sheffield. The breakfast was quality as well. Thanks everyone involved.

Excellent service, staff are very Helpful. Rroom are luxurious and clean and comfortable. Food is absolutely amazing 👏 compliments to chef, the steak was cooked to perfection. Wifi was intermittent, my mobile date was sufficient. Would highly recommend 👌.
