Grumpy helped us get parked and to room 407. He was so kind and informative. Showed us around the building and how to access the patio. The room was large and bright. The king bed was comfortable, as was the two chairs in the room. The bathroom was large as well. The location is wonderful. Close walking distance to everything. They gave us two free drink tickets for the restaurant on property. We used those and had dinner. The food and drinks were excellent. All the staff we encountered were very nice. We would definitely stay again.

So nice to stay in a historic building with the rooms decorated with antiques. A nice change from the regular hotels. The restaurant was delicious and it was great to be able to walk everywhere. We didn’t have to touch the car for the days we were there. Highly recommended.

Very good experience. The room we reserved was unavailable because of an a/c issue but the room they gave us was lovely and they waived the parking fees. Very well located in the beautiful historic district and easily walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops and parks.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The staff were helpful and kind from start to finish! We loved the room and jacuzzi tub and shower! The room had a historic vibe and we even had a separate living room! We also had a private courtyard and our own driveway! We stayed in room 301.

What a great place to stay in Savannah! We had a beautiful room. The hotel bar and restaurant were beautifully decorated and the courtesy cocktail was much appreciated. A special mention has to go to Chris who arranged for shipping of some clothes which my wife left in the wardrobe when we left. His communication was top notch and he really could not have been more helpful. The hotel is situated slap bang in the middle of the historical district of Savannah and without a doubt, if I’m back in the city, I’ll be booking to stay there again if at all possible.

The room was beautifully decorated, spotless and featured tasteful modern updates while still preserving the charm of the historic building. The staff were attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful, offering wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The hotel's location in historic downtown Savannah was perfect we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. Every aspect of our stay was delightful. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. We will definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay at the 17hundred90 Inn. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and walking around with "Grumpy" is a (pleasent) experience in itself! This hotel is close to everything so its always a short walk to where you want to go. Little disappointed we didn't see any ghost but we will try again next visit!

This charming hotel in the heart of downtown Savannah was everything we hoped for! Quiet and private, centrally located, clean, and hospitable. When we first arrived, we were offered a tour of the property by the not-so-grumpy groundskeeper, Grumpy. He directed us as we parked and carried our bags up the stairs. The location was perfect. We parked our car on Wednesday and didn't move it until we left for Tybee island on Friday afternoon. Parking was a fair $15 per night. They also offered us two free drinks at the hotel bar, and we enjoyed a nice nightcap (the key lime martini was delish). Though we didn't see any ghosts, everything else was as promised. The bed was comfy (though super tall with some little stairs at the end, lol), there was a tv you could log into, and the iron did the trick. The soaker tub and large shower were very comfortable and a nice way to unwind after busy sightseeing days. Truly no complaints! Would recommend staying here. We felt very safe as two twenty-something girls.
