Charming motel in the heart of Lake George! Being able to park at the room and then walk into town was so easy and convenient. Will definitely be back!

Convenient location. Staff was great and check-in/out was easy. Room was clean (except for the top part of the coffee maker) and the bed and pillows were very comfortable! I slept quite well. I'm not sure if there are quiet hours at this motel, but at almost midnight there were feral children running around outside my room bouncing what could have been a basketball as well as people running around upstairs. Wish it was a little less noisy so late (and early).

The Admiral was an excellent place to stay for the money. A very clean and well-maintained property. Very cute and charming 50's style office/home with hanging flowers pots all around it. Two level motels with a very nice pool. The motel is on the end of the main downtown waterfront so it's very easy to walk. It's perfect to leave car at motel since the town charges to park on street. No food available, only coffee in room. Nice little breakfast place 1 min walking across street. Other places very close a little further away by foot. If your family is on a tight budget, you have to weigh in on paying a little more for a place with a continental breakfast included since the area restaurants are quite expensive. Anyway, for just a couple like us, it was a perfect super budget, charming place to stay

Like many others leaving reviews I will point out that the room was sparkling clean. The facility is on the older side, but with none of the baked in grim I've experienced before in older spaces. This place is clearly loved and meticulously cleaned and repaired. Everything worked as it should etc. They accommodated our late arrival and our request for an extra hour for checkout. All with a smile and generosity. The bed was comfortable (was in the queen room), the room spacious. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

I was uncertain about booking a small motel that I had never heard of but The Admiral was perfect for my needs. It was quiet, clean and very close to the center part of town. It is a basic motel with a courteous staff, daily housekeeping and a clean pool. Its rate was very affordable and its proximity to restaurants, bars and beaches was excellent.

This is a nice motel. The only negative is the 20 steps going up to the 2nd floor. The room is spacious with 2 queen beds, 3 large pillows on each bed, and a thin blanket. The AC, the fridge, and the coffee pot with 2 reg coffee packets, 2 decaf packets and condiments are worked. The magnifier mirror was a nice touch. The pool and deck looked beautiful but we did not have time to use. Parking is free but not room assigned. Staff were nice.

Clean motel with helpful staff. Smaller and cozier feeling than some of the really big ones around Lake George. Would stay again.

This is an older property, so doesn't have all modern amenities, but it was very clean, the staff very friendly. It was quiet at night, but close to restaurants, shops, the lake front, etc. Parking was off street and ample. I would definitely stay there again.
