My stay at Villa Rosa Inn in Santa Barbara was wonderful from start to finish. The check-in process was quick, easy, and welcoming. The staff greeted us with genuine kindness and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself is beautiful, charming, and perfectly located. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the grounds were beautifully kept. One of the highlights was the convenient location. We were able to easily explore Santa Barbara's beaches, restaurants, shops, and attractions without having to travel far. The staff was always available to answer questions and provide helpful recommendations. Throughout our stay, every interaction with the team was pleasant and professional. They clearly take pride in providing excellent customer service and ensuring guests have a great experience. Check-out was just as smooth and efficient as check-in, making for a stress-free departure. Overall, Villa Rosa Inn exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and conveniently located place to stay in Santa Barbara.

Staff was very pleasant. Room was a little small but very clean. No elevator to second floor. The balcony area has a great view looking out to the ocean.

If you book a room at the Ala Mar Motel, the check in is at the Villa Rosa Inn which is like a 1-2 minute walk. Location has a very limited parking spaces but they do have additional parking in front of Villa Rosa Inn. There is no pool at this location but they do have a large balcony with couple of chairs and tables. If you are interested in the pool, the pool is located on Villa Rosa Inn. Ala Mar Motel is located just across the beach and it’s a like 15-20 minutes walk to the downtown Santa Barbara. Other than that this still a really good place to stay.

The beach view from the couches on the huge palm tree lined sundeck was amazing! We could feel the ocean spray as baby seals frolicked in the gently breaking waves as they rolled across the shoreline.

I took the train from the San Francisco Bay Area down to Santa Barbara for a getaway trip. Totally Spurt of the moment. I was delighted to stumble upon this hotel. It was so comfortable had such a nice vibe. Warm welcoming service. I'm enjoying the 'French country chic' ( with the Spanish twist:-) decor. I will definitely return here!

The location in relation to the train station and the beach is spectacular. The neighborhood is late-night-walking to the hotel, very friendly. There were multiple families walking with us down the street to other hotels/hostels after our midnight arrival on Amtrak
