I had corner unit so I overlooked at Bay great firework show on Friday night from Balcony loud cruisers in evening with blaring music heard all the way up to 16th floor not in properties control, Shopping Ala Moana mall almost attached convenient bridge to walk across with out have to cross streets

The Waikīkī tower at the Ala Moana Hotel is undergoing renovation. This Luana Vacation rental has recently been refreshed. Bright colors and updated furniture really have improved this property. Good value for the money

We booked a 2 bedroom suite and loved it. The unit was on the 34th floor and was spacious with multiple lanais in each room. The kitchen was stocked with 2 blenders which we did not use, but a rice cooker which we used everyday! I would rent this unit again for the size and location. We found that parking was only difficult to find if you come back very late in the evening; this wasn't a problem for us, because we were always back before 9pm. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a nice area. There’s a bridge to the nice outdoor shopping center next door on the second floor. It’s a well recognized hotel in Honolulu, however when you book through Expedia, you’re getting a sort of Air Bnb deal. So you’ll have to sign a contract that you’ll take care of the room you’re given, that you acknowledge the private company’s rules, etc. Yet the room is like any other room in the hotel… so I didn’t understand that. Nonetheless, it was a great stay. In a great area. If you don’t wanna do the walk to Waikiki, Uber/lyft is like a $7 - $12 ride depending on what time you order it. Ala Moana beach park is 2 cross walks away. That’s one of the best perks of staying at this hotel as well because it is beautiful there and less of a crowd than at Waikiki and you can catch a beautiful sunset.

I stayed in room 1608 which is a private condo unit with King Bed, ocean-view. Housekeeping was not included- I was ok with this since I was traveling alone. The coffee mugs provided were dirty with coffee stains. I brought my own mug with me so it wasn’t a problem. These minor negatives did not impact my overall experience. The AC works great which is a huge plus. There’s a mini fridge, microwave, no utensils or plates, but two coffee mugs. There is a iron and ironing board, blow dryer, huge closet space with hangers, starter kits of one roll of paper towel, couple rolls of tp, toiletries. There’s a coffee pot with coffee filters. The TV is not the easiest to navigate. Remote control buttons are sticky and delayed. Ala Moana Shopping Center is located on the same property. There’s a Starbucks downstairs. Easy access to Lyft/Uber from the lobby. Parking is available $35.00 per day with in/out privileges. Parking is limited. The hotel property is clean, friendly staff, excellent location. Safe and private. You can’t access the elevator without the room key.

Great location right next to Ala Moana Shopping Center. The room was clean although a little worn in places. The refrigerator was hard to open but worked well. The view was great. The room could have used a little table to eat on. We got locked out once but the hotel staff was very efficient in coming to help. Very convenient location if friends/family are going to be picking you and driving you around.

Wonderful hotel. Comfy room. All we needed. So close for shopping and beach. Loved the restaurant at the top. Just needed somewhere to lift our luggage on. An explanation on how the shower works would be good as we thought we only had cold water for a while. Over all perfect for a couple. Great hotel.

A Very spacious room with a queen size bed. Great view of the nearby mall, beach, harbor and other hotels. Very convenient to the mall and other food spots. Only 1 minor problem – It was Tuesday or Wednesday morning, the constant beeping of a very large truck or bus for about an hour after 630am backing up

We will be back. Perfect location, you can definitely walk to Waikiki from here. We did lots of walking and exploring of the neighbourhood. The ocean view was beautiful, the sunsets were amazing. Ala Moans Park/Magic Island across from the hotel is a lovely place to get some exercise and watch sunsets. There is a beach there too.
