I stayed at the Alden for a mini vacation and it was an enjoyable visit. I was very unhappy with the first room I was assigned because it was in very poor shape. But honestly, the front desk was kind enough to move me to a larger, nicer room. Furthermore, the hotel provided me with two complimentary beach chairs that were ideal for watching the sun set. The personnel was generally very supportive and friendly throughout my stay. Ahold, who assisted me on the beach, was especially helpful. If you want a chic alternative that is near the beach, I would suggest the Alden. Its not a fancy hotel by ebay stretch, but the beds are extremely comfortable, the staff is kind, and the beach is less than a fiveminute walk away!.

The cleanliness of the hotel was good and the atmosphere was comfortable. There is a nightclub nearby. The location is close to the beach. The service provided by the breakfast buffet was also good.

The Alden Hotel is similar to a embassy suites in that it has a potential breakfast with bagels, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and other beverages. Besides Starbuck's coffee, that's the nicest aspect of being here. I had a wonderful time in my day at the beach thanks to William's kindness and helpfulness. The hotel's only drawback is that it's a little noisy, and the mattresses aren't that comfy. Also, the distance from the ocean is 20 blocks. You're closer to mid-Side Beach than South.

I like the Alden hotel's location. The location is near all the action on the beach in Miami but the price is affordable. My room was clean and equipped with almost a mini kitchenette with a microwave, sink, and fridge. It was the perfect place to sleep, have a quick drink and then explore the area.
