Do you fancy an adventure? A lucky dip? Not knowing if your room might just be the death of you? Select this motel for the authentic US of A run down over night experience. If so, this is the place for. From the gentle aroma of drugs wafting through the corridors, the boarded up broken windows, doors that don’t really close properly, water leaking from bathroom creating a sticky mess over the rooms floor, broken electrical sockets, water backing up in the shower bringing a brown soup of from the plug hole and of course the mandatory punch hole in the bathroom wall. I must add the beds were comfortable, the sheets and towels clean. The staff were as helpful as they could be considering the state of the building’s disrepair. The last night I stayed there I was moved to a renovated room, which was of an acceptable standard, but they have a long way to go before it is finished. Staying in this motel gave me an experience I will remember for all of the wrong reasons.

At around $100 a night, it was the cheapest hotel in the area I was searching. The person working the front desk was friendly, helpful, and professional. The free parking lot is located behind the hotel, so it's hidden from the road, and the place is covered with security cameras. I travelled with a "luxury" vehicle and had no problems. The rooms were what I expected. The sheets smelled clean, despite the stains and cigarette burn holes. The room itself was clean on the surface, although less so under the mattresses and anywhere that you need to move something to see. There were NO bedbugs, the AC worked VERY well (brought the room from over 80 to under 70 in about 10-15 minutes), and the wi-fi was faster than many hotels I've stayed at. Final verdict is that this place is worth the price. It certainly isn't a $400/night Hilton, but if you're just looking for a cheap place to rest your head at the end of the day, this place will do the job!

Unfortunately, there was an unexpected sinkhole near the property right before we were scheduled to arrive. This made finding a way into the parking lot difficult, but the attendant on staff was very helpful. I would consider this a one star motel in terms of amenities, updates, comfortable beds, etc. But, we knew that going in and were happy with the service. We just needed a place to lay our heads close to the attractions we wanted to see and this fit the bill.

This is and older motel undergoing renovation. My room had been updated and was clean and comfortable. The stairways and building outside still are being worked on. No issues with mice or insects. Very nice helpful staff. This is a short walk from the convention center so economical stay if you are just looking for a room and don't need all of the bells and whistles. Free parking.

I was looking for an extended stay sort of situation while I prepare the house I bought there for occupancy. This is one of the cheapest options available in DT St. Louis. It is not fancy, but decent. Comfortable bed and good shower. The owners are nice and take care of any issues that arise. I sometimes prefer places like this without pretension.

The guy at check in was great very friendly and said any problems come get him, it was very close to the dome where we went to a concert at, it was walkable and free parking. No frills motel, really close to the downtown, not a lot else to praise. Room was nice & clean, but it does lack some creature comforts of a nicer spot. Good enough to lay your head at the end of the night

I enjoyed my 1-night stay and the room truly was the best value I could find in the perfect location for my trip. The staff was helpful and held on to my bags for me on my last day. I had to leave a $20 deposit for nonsmoking room, and they gave it back to me when I checked out. The hotel is older, has some issues, but is being refreshed. The new owners put in laminate floors, painted, new bedding, and are fixing up things. Some things still need attention, like cigarette burns on the toilet seat. My room looked like the picture. Although the hotel is right across the street from the 5-star Fairmont for +$400/night, they are both next to the busy freeway overpass, and the area in general is kind of sketchy. I would not walk farther north of these hotels. The arch is about a mile south through the touristy area.

The bathroom door looked like it lost a fight with a dog; there were handprints on the wall; they had to shut the water off in our room for a few hours, then needed to get into our room while we were there so they could work on the sink (which hadn’t been giving us any trouble); only one of the three outlets by the bed worked; we asked for a king sized bed but got two doubles—when we pushed them together, there were dead bugs under the bed (thankfully NOT bedbugs). The staff was polite though, and the hotel is cheap, has free parking, and is a pretty easy walk to Busch Stadium.
