I used the Anacortes Inn as my homebase while exploring the San Juan Islands. I was impressed by how clean and convenient the hotel was. Everything is updated in the room. The bathroom wasn't as updated, but it was clean and plain and that's all I needed for my 10 day stay. The rooms seem adequately insulated, because I did not hear any side to side neighbors. Having upstairs neighbors a few nights was a little rough... but maybe they just had loud feet. I still slept comfortably and the AC was great. The minifridge was great - and the freezer part worked! The front desk staff was very helpful at checkin and even provided me piece of tape that I needed to seal an envelope and as a bonus they gave my dog treats! There were several dogs (including mine) in the hotel, but the floors are vinyl, so they are very clean. I only had my room cleaned once, and it was accidentally overlooked, but as soon as I mentioned it, it was taken care of. That is excellent customer service! If you are looking for a posh resort, maybe skip this one. But if you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay that is central to a lot of amazing sites - I highly recommend. Plus there is a park right next door for late evening dog walks. And there is food and coffee within walking distance. I was traveling alone with my dog and I felt very safe at the hotel and surrounding areas. I had an amazing time and hope to return soon to the Anacortes Inn.

Nice clean and cozy room. Bed was very comfortable and hardwood floors, which is key. Room is small, not a lot of extra space for two people to splay out, but it was what we needed for a short stay. Microwave and mini fridge in the room which is always nice to have. Staff was very friendly when we were checking in.

I stayed there with my family and our dog for a couple of nights. The location was convenient, as it was close to all the popular spots in Anacortes. The front desk receptionists were kind and helpful.

We spent a week in the PNW and stayed here for three nights. It was one of the best places to stay. The staff were nice and helpful and the beds were comfortable and room was clean.

Really clean nice room. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative is very thin walls. Can hear your neighbors or others out front. Would stay there again regardless of that. Really liked how easy it was to check in online and have room number and door code texted to me.

Great value walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Clean and easy parking. Not sound proof heard crying kid most of the evening.

The night staff was so nice to us. We got in super late and we had to wake him up but he was so kind. We only stayed for 3 hours, just to rest before the ferry but he was so kind to us. It's a lovely hotel.

EVERYTHING was great! From service to experience we had no complaints at all. One of our favorite finds along our journey from the gulf coast to the west coast.

I wish they had some breakfast. There is nothing within walking distance except a donut store. Otherwise clean and kinda funky fresh adaptation of a dated motel. Not bad
