I love staying at the Anchor Inn. I love the closeness to the beach and a restaurant. I love the view from the rooms. I don’t particularly like check-in, which is done on a machine and the breakfast is pretty nominal but other than that, it’s a wonderful place to stay. I love Crescent City

The location is right on the beach! Just a spectacular view, great to walk on and popular with surfers and kite boarders. Our room was set back a bit and the building seems to block out most of the highway noise which is minimal for the night on that smaller road. There seems to be a popular restaurant at the end of the marina behind the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. Check in was unusual with Zoom agent live on a screen but it was fine. Another staff was around to ask if we needed anything. I will say breakfast is really just coffee or tea and a variety of packaged sweet processed pastries that you pick up to take away from the lobby.

This property felt clean and safe. I’m a woman traveling with my children and I never felt nervous or uncomfortable. Our room was large and had an incredible ocean view. It’s so close to a beach my children and I actually walked there barefoot. Like most motels there weren’t a lot of amenities, but we thought the beds were comfortable and we were close to restaurants and everything we needed.

Great little place right on the ocean. Rooms were clean and having a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker was great. Nice bay windows looking out at the beach.
