This was a perfect stay. Staff, grounds, cleanliness, peaceful…top notch. We are on tour with a band and the mattresses were by far the best we’ve slept in. This place gets my highest recommendation. -Little King

Stayed in Handicap room, it was wonderful, many grab bars, wheelchair accessible shower. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was immaculate. WiFi was spotty but it was nice to disconnect.

Air conditioning units were new and worked well. Room was clean and ready for us. The internet was poor and very spotty. Parking was great. Convenient to Heroes restaurant which is outstanding.

Staying here was an absolute breeze! The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and felt like it was newly remodeled. Check-in was remarkably quick, and the best part was that the property is totally pet-friendly—making it the perfect stay for traveling with your furry best friend!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and have really enjoyed it both times. The rooms are cozy and quaint and the location is great, close to many things.

First time staying at an inn and the equipment/supplies provided in the room were nice. There were towels, soap, a stove, a pot, fridge/freezer, microwave, utensils, coffee machine and cups, A/C, and wifi. Texting staff was easy and fast responses during operating hours. Only thing our room didn’t have that would have been nice is a hair dryer (might have been able to request). Food option right across the street (long wait/cook time) or a few minutes away at the popular Julian area. Parking was nice, roomy, and right outside the room door. Will be back in the future if staying overnight in Julian area.

The rook was very clean when we arrived and we were so grateful for the ac being on when we came! The only wish was that they had a microwave in the room (it is available to used when asked tho, we’re just lazy haha) and the water to be hotter. The staff was very accommodating and perfect stay for visiting Julian.

Its a very nice and basic place to stay. Its on par with the rest of the hotels in the Julian area. Nothing fancy but it works great for coming back to recharge and get rest for the activities for the next day. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy check in and check out process. We will be coming back again!!!!! Thank you Apple Tree Inn!!!!

It’s awesome! You can tell the owner has an eye for design and likes nice things. It’s in a great spot too.

It's a very comfortable and clean small hotel. Easy to check-in. Very convenient parking right outside the room.

It was a rough start at first. We were very pleasantly surprised by the grace we were extended by the well mannered staff at the Apple Tree Inn. After going over our reservation with the owners of the inn, it was proven that Expedia had misrepresented the accommodations, both size and occupant capacity. As we had more than just ourselves staying, it was a welcome relief when we were given two separate rooms instead of the misappropriated single queen bed unit at no extra charge. The Apple Tree Inn is very clean, very comfortable, very accommodating. Highly recommend!!
