I was there early in the season before the Cooperstown baseball tournaments and the weddings and it was an amazing quiet little trip, moving my daughter out of college and back home

Absolutely LOVED this place. Inside & out are just beautiful! I wish the hot tub was open when we arrived. After a long drive, I was really looking forward to it. Also, there wasn't a single roll of tp in our room when we got there.

Loved the location and room, very spacious. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Did not use amenities, other than the provided breakfast. No hot food, but plenty of cold options. Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at August Lodge. It was clean, the room was spacious, the staff was incredible, and the view alone was worth the price. We will stay here again!

This was a getaway that was planned for seeing Cooperstown and all that the little town had to offer. The August Lodge is amazing and made this trip so much more than we could ever ask for. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home every day. The views were spectacular and we spent our evenings on our patio watching the eagles soar around the mountains. Thank you August staff for making our birthday, anniversary and Mother’s Day vacation a lifetime of great memories.

What a beautiful facility, and piece of property. We were visiting The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, and this was a reasonable driving distance. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the views are awesome. They even have a fire pit that overlooks the scenic hillside. They had a continental breakfast in the morning as well.

The room was clean and larger than a hotel room. The staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what to do. Very good choice.

The staff at this little lodge is so kind. We were one of only two families both nights, but we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, convenient to the HoF, delicious coffee.

I stayed by my teammates. Very close to baseball fields. My only complaints are its dark, lights limited the tiny lamps most didn't work, the tables they were on were lower than the bed. Shower head flow was hard to remove soap provided.

Safe. Clean. STUNNING. Loved staying in this hidden gem so close to Cooperstown! Heated pool and swing set were great for the kids and there's a fire pit for s'mores that overlooks the wildflower meadow. Total homerun.
