I needed a cheap place to lay my head while I got away on a solo fishing trip and this place did the trick. The room wasn't huge or anything but it was clean, comfy and the front desk lady was super nice. She was thrilled when she found out I was a teacher and walked me to my room to get me settled. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything I needed was there the pier for fishing was my favorite the pool was very clean..the room was great for the family enough room for our group.

Let me set expectations… this location is fishing cottages, not high-end vacation cottages. With that said the staff is caring & clean. This location was in the eye of hurricane Harvey 2017. It survived. Keeping that in mind they have done a remarkable job repainting the interior of the rooms & bringing everything up to code. It is ran by a very sweet family who works very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I’ve been visiting this family and this location since 2010. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. ~Peace 🕊️

This is the definition of simplicity at its finest. I have stayed here 2x times and both times i have been greeted by the most pleasant of women. She was joyous, courteous, and helpful. I was very tired, but her energy made me smile and gave me a perk in my attitude. The room was clean and very neat. If you want a place to sleep, shower, and get your things together, i would recommend this place 100/100 times.

Slept so peacefully, it had a regular size fridge plenty of space for our food. The lady in the office was very friendly and sociable. The stay was perfect, no complaints.
