From the outside you wouldn't believe how modern the room is. Nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. I will definitely stay again!

Location was awesome....right across the street was Mark Twain restaurant. A few blocks of walking were awesome shops. And the Mississippi River. You can take the Mark Twain boat ride. Also live entertainment on the block. Very neat little area. I traveled solo and felt safe. Staff was excellent. The room could have been a little better. Toilet was wobbly. Could use an update. Other than that I would stay again.

First off, I wanna start with the check in.Tony was absolutely fantastic, took very good care of us.I've stayed all over and i've got to be honest with you.I've never really stayed at best.Westerns, but this one had a location that was unbelievable in hannibal, and it was so close to everything that we were wanting to go see.So I tried it, I will definitely be doing this more.It was impeccable, and the breakfast was good. The rooms were really clean.I mean, we just had a great time.If you're going to hannibal, you don't want to stay anywhere else. The location and everything it just can't be beat.I can't say enough good things about it

There is nowhere more convenient to the historic district of Hannibal than the Best Western on the River. Not a new property and not a luxury property, but everything was as expected. Indoor swimming pool, light breakfast foods, clean beds and towels, working a/c and shower. This was my second stay here, and next time I visit Hannibal, I'll be staying here again.

A lovely stay. We stay here when visiting our son at Missou. (It breaks up our trip from Chicago.) The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds are comfortable and the staff is nice. Breakfast is OK, but just a 1/2 block away is a delicious hometown breakfast diner we love. And the Mark Twain dinette across the street has delicious fried chicken and root beer too. The one draw-back is the building is older, so you may hear people in the halls, if they are loud (or inconsiderate) and you’re a light sleeper.
