The room was great. The bed was comfortable. The only thing would be that it was a high bed, so it might be something peo

Wonderful little spot. The staff were full of smiles and positive vibes. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were quiet. The owners were there and were very helpful with check in, local guidance, and overall just seemed like down to earth, friendly folks. Would 10/10 recommend a stay here.

This was an adorable property. Room 6 was very large, comfy bed, and a great private balcony. The staff was helpful and I really enjoyed my stay at this property, and the town of Ouray.

What a cute place. We stayed in room 2. Check in was basically just finding our room, signing up for a breakfast time and unpacking. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, especially the day they served French toast with berries and bacon. Location was perfect. Can’t wait to return some day.

The best review I can write about is that I didn't want to leave. The Bear Manor is a special place. It is a great jumping off point for many adventures. I loved the staff and open breakfast where you could interact with others seeking adventures. It had everything I needed and nothing I didn't.

The only thing I would have liked is charging capabilities at the bedside for phones, or in our case, hearing devices. Other than that, although there were hot springs surrounding us, we took advantage of the hot tub. Breakfast was delicious, and much appreciated. The hosts were so nice! A map of the town is available. Towels and pool robes were offered for free, with the only rule to please return them. We had a GREAT stay! Thank you!

We love the Black Bear Manor…this was our second stay and can’t wait until we return. Our hostess, December, was an angel. The breakfast was delicious!

Fantastic location 2 blocks from Main Street in Ouray. Quiet neighborhood, and nice curb appeal. The rooms are small but very adequate. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Hot showers!!! The staff is the difference at Black Bear Manor. They are friendly, helpful, and there when you need them. The snacks and the breakfast are 5 Star!!! We ended up staying an extra night because we couldn’t stand the thought of leaving!!! Kudos to Black Bear!!!
