We really enjoyed our stay at the Broken Spur. The room was updated and absolutely immaculate! The indoor pool was very clean and refreshing. We had a very nice dinner at the steak house and a good, hot breakfast the next morning. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the laundry. Only one washing machine was operational and a couple dryers. The broken ones weren't labeled so we kept having to go to the office to get refunds.

The wagons are super charming and provided an authentic, unique experience. It was kind of like glamping! We appreciated that each wagon had access to a private bathroom, despite the bathrooms being located separately from the wagons. The firepit nearby was a great addition! We brought along ingredients for s'mores, and it was the perfect setting to make them. Overall, would totally recommend!

It was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in for a long time. No complanits about the room. Nice staff. There was a large variety of things to eat for breakfast, except no bacon, yogurt, or orange juice.

Really enjoyed the novelty of the covered wagons in the back. AC worked decently well at night, even in July, but would recommend hanging out there during the day. Location was close to Capitol reef. Covered pool was super nice for the July rainstorms and sun, alternately.

We stayed in one of the covered wagons for the night and it was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was super helpful and the on site restaurant was wonderful - the food was amazing, the staff was so welcoming, and the breakfast the next morning was wonderful. Overall it was a great stay.

Oh my goodness, we loved this place! After a full day of driving and exploring in 100°+ heat with two young boys, pulling up to the Broken Spur was heavenly. It was a last minute booking for us and it worked out so well! We had dinner at the restaurant (prime rib was A+++) before settling in to our room. It was my fault for not recognizing in the listing that there are no elevators, only exterior stairs. Not a problem for us but may be for some. Our room on the second floor had obviously been recently renovated- simple but very cute and fit the theme of the business well. We managed to head to the pool shortly before closing and had the whole place to ourselves. The “greenhouse” pool set up was different and fun! Very clean too. Laundry was affordable and the nice girl at desk was happy to make change for me. We all slept quite comfortably and enjoyed breakfast before heading back to Canyonlands. We would GLADLY stay here again, maybe in a Conestoga wagon next time!

Family friendly motel with a great pool for the kids. We stayed in a wagon and it was fine for one night. Very clean and surprisingly spacious for a wagon. The steakhouse was a good dinner spot and the free breakfast was decent.

The breakfast left alot to be desired. And the hottub could use repair or replaced all together. But all the rest was very nice.
