Loved the location...nice hotel with clean modern rooms. There is public parking within 2 minute walk if you dont valet. Roof top bar has really cool view and really nice bartender. Probably not too kid friendly.....next to Rainey St

We had a great stay at this Cambria hotel. First of all, you can’t beat the location ! A short walking distance from Rainey St. in addition, the property is modern and our room was very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again .

I really appreciated the convenience of the self-service market. I didn't get in until midnight and I was hungry but had no energy to find a place that still served food. The turkey sandwich was better than expected, and Ben & Jerry's is a personal favorite. It was so easy to grab a satisfying late-night snack.

We had a great stay for 3 nights here. We checked in late and appreciated the front desk taking care of us. We really enjoyed the room we had on a corner, 5th floor- yes, you could hear music and noise on the weekend, but IT"S AUSTIN, we were fine with it and mostly out enjoying the city anyway. Good location in terms of walkability to some great spots around us. The pool area was very pretty, we wished there was a hot tub. We had a drink and snack up on the top floor and the view and vibes were nice, the bartender made a good martini. The parking is valet only which was a bit of an ordeal just to wait for someone to get to you, then get your car- they never sent us the text to be able to pre-get our vehicle when we needed it though we brought it up several times. They were very nice about it all. Overall we would recommend and could see staying here again on a future visit to Austin.

Amazing location! Ready St right behind with restaurants and bars. North Congress was about a 15 minute walk downtown. Rooms were current and clean and a heated pool as well. It was a great experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Austin Downtown. The location is one of its biggest strengths — it’s close to several parks and green spaces, including the trails along Lady Bird Lake, which are just a short walk away. It’s also very convenient to the highway, making it easy to get in and out of the city without hassle. Because it’s near the Rainey Street and downtown bar areas, there is some noise at night, but the neighborhood still feels safe and walkable, even for solo travelers. If you want to be close to the action, this is a great spot. Valet parking is very expensive, but it’s also extremely convenient if you don’t want to deal with downtown parking yourself. Overall, the hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable — a good place to stay if you want easy access to Austin’s parks, nightlife, and major roads.
