I love the property. I always stay there and I live the spa. The only thing that I really would like to see change is I would like for them to have Netflix. I don't really watch regular tv and when I do I hate commercials.

The Carnegie is a beautiful hotel with a vintage atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and clean. It's located near shopping and restaurants. We always stay at the Carnegie when we are in town.

I was surprised that this gorgeous hotel appeared off the highway and it was like a mirage. Absolutely beautiful. Plus the restaurant is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone travelling through the area.

It’s always a treat to come enjoy some time at the hotel. I have experienced twice now that the kitchen is strict about a 9pm close time. When we tried ordering dessert after our meal, around 8:55, the server said the kitchen is closed and wondered which dessert the kitchen would be willing to make. I appreciate boundaries but it always seems like the servers are nervous and if a diner is already eating, the kitchen could serve the last part of the meal without making it uncomfortable. Everything else is completely comfortable and no issues at all.

This was such a beautiful hotel. We have gone to Johnson City a few times as our son will start school there in the fall. We have stayed at other franchise branded hotels, such as Hilton and Marriott and this one far surpassed it. A place this grand would be awesome for a reception and a special event. There’s a cute boutique downstairs by the spa that has dresses that are actually affordable and cute. We will stay there again. We loved the vibe of this place.

This was a great and classy hotel. We loved the food from Wellington's restaurant as we ordered it using room service and everything was wonderful. Very spacious and the staff were friendly, courteous and supportive. For the price of a 1 night stay the value was great. I would definitely recommend this place and stay there again. We didn't even get a chance to view or use the weight room and spa on the lower level but we will next time we stay.

The nicest hotel in the region west of Asheville east of Knoxville. Very large rooms with very nice accommodations. The only thing one could pick at was the bed was a touch soft but I just really liked the property, town, college and things to do
