If you are looking for a quiet escape. This is the place! I am already planning my next visit. The location is everything. Tranquil doesn't even begin to describe it. The room was nice too.

Ive worked in the hotel and hospitality industry for over 10 years and this was the most relaxing stay I've ever had. I came here for the weekend and just wanted to know what it would be like to live in a small trailer with me and my husband. This little charming trailer was charming and cozy with all the amenities inside and out. The crisp, clean white linen on the bed and the fresh fruit and pastries were a delicate touch. It was an unexpected surprise. It had all the amenities of an extended stay like plates, silverware, extra towels, iron, hairdryer, robes and cleaning supplies. I would have stayed if I didn't have children to come home to. The pool area had plenty of seating in sunny and shady areas. I loved the eccentric look of the chandeliers throughout the outdoor areas. There was a four-poster bed frame made into a seating area outside another area that looked like an adult bird cage. The sound of water is very zenlike. The view of lake travis was far below, a small slice of paradise to me. The owner was welcoming and delightful and briefly spoke about the story of the armadillo. You can tell she prides herself on her property and it shows. The place seems secluded but you still have access to nearby lake travis and restaurants. I adored this place and couldn't

I found Casa del Sol online by accident. They were all booked up, except maybe 18 it airstream rp made in 1964 called the armadillo. I had 2 aft 220 la sons with me. thought I made a mistake! Best time we had on our trip through Texas. It was a blast with the view, the best pool in the world according to my sons and me too. Near everything, but the property feels miles from anything. Complete relaxation. I will be back, soon! Oh, and delectable pastries and fruit for breakfast.
